Talk About Martin Desk
Put TAM on your phone
TAM is a home-screen app for the Desk — the five-flag risk map, live posts, and the public-record timeline. No App Store. No account. Open the link, then add it once.
On a computer
Just go to the URL. Bookmark it if you want. Chrome and Edge can also install it as a window: look for the install icon in the address bar, or the menu item Install Talk About Martin Desk / Install TAM.
iPhone and iPad
Must be Safari. Chrome, Facebook, Instagram, and mail in-app browsers will not add a real app.
- Open app.talkaboutmartin.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (square with the arrow — bottom on iPhone, top on iPad).
- Scroll the sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- The name should read TAM. Tap Add.
Guided taps: Open the iOS install walkthrough.
Android phone and tablet
Use Chrome. Not Incognito. Not a Facebook or Gmail in-app window — tap Open in Chrome first.
- Open app.talkaboutmartin.com in Chrome.
- On a tablet, turn Desktop site off in the ⋮ menu, then reload.
- Tap ⋮ (top right) → Install app or Add to Home screen. On some tablets it sits under Cast, save and share.
- Confirm. Look on the home screen — and in the app drawer — for a dark tile with a red flag labeled TAM.
After it is on the home screen
- Tap TAM. It should open full screen, no browser bar.
- Am I at risk? is the first tool. Use my location asks Chrome or Safari for GPS once. If you previously tapped Block, open the lock icon by the address → Permissions → Location → Allow. Or skip GPS and tap the map / pick a community.
Location stays on the device. Nothing is stored. The long-form record remains on talkaboutmartin.com.
